'The Avengers' Filming Will Close Part of E. 9th for Most of August

Head's up, Cleveland: Filming for The Avengers will close E. 9th St. between Euclid and Prospect from August 8 to August 31.

That should be fun.

The city's posted a brief release about other "intermittent" closures and detours filming will cause, but no details except that for now.

You were all excited for movies to be filmed here. Now it's time to deal with the downside.
