Let he who has not gotten very drunk, taken a walk, entered the wrong house thinking it was his own, and then grabbed the breast of a sleeping stranger cast the first stone after reading this story.
The Sandusky Register reports that 29-year-old Jason Parrish had quite the weekend in Vermillion. He'd tossed back some brews, enough to leave him with a 0.178 blood alcohol level at 3 a.m. on Saturday, and went for a walk. Unfortunately, that walk ended at the home of a stranger, not where Parrish had been staying. He claims he doesn't remember the events of that early morning, but the home's owner does.
The 50-year-old woman called police after she awoke to find Parrish touching her breast. Not exactly how you want to be roused from a delightful REM cycle.
When cops arrived, they found Parrish smoking a cig on the back patio. But once he saw Johnny Law, he took off running. He did not make it far, eventually tripping and scraping his face.
He told deputies he'd been drinking all day at the beach with his girlfriend and said he wasn't even aware he was in someone else's cottage.
When asked how much he'd consumed, he replied, "too much," according to the report.
After his girlfriend and friends went to bed that night, he said he couldn't sleep and decided to go for a walk.
He apparently thought he'd made it back to the cottage where he was staying, though he was unable to tell deputies the address.
Parrish is due in court Tuesday on charges of aggravated burglary and gross sexual imposition.
