19 Action News reports that cops seized a van they think was involved in the attempted abduction of a 15-year-old girl yesterday on Denison. The vehicle was found near the West Side Market and matched the description given by the victim. No charges have yet been brought against the owner of the van as cops search for evidence.

Cleveland.com also reports this morning that a Good Samaritan helped thwart the abduction. As the teen was being jumped and assaulted by a man in a black ski mask, a man in a nearby yard saw the suspect attempting to shove the girl in the vehicle and yelled, " "What the [expletive] are you doing?"

The suspect then slammed the doors shut and sped off.

Cops also checked out surveillance video from a store where the teen said she saw a man staring at her from the same vehicle.
