— Audio from a 911 call made by a woman police suspect was abducted, dumped on the side of the road, and left semi-conscious. In it you can hear the attacker pick up the phone and say, "She's dead." Thankfully she's not. (Morning Journal)

— Crowne Plaza has been sold and will be shut down. By 2013, it will be a Westin. Problem: we want to sleep in a Westin bed right this minute. (
