There's Occupy Wall Street, Occupy Cleveland, Occupy Canton, and rallies with protesters in plenty of big cities across America and Ohio.
The Occupy movement in suburbs, however, can be sparse if existent at all. Take Strongsville, for instance, where we never knew there was an Occupy Strongsville protest until we read this police blotter item from Patch.
Police were called to Pearl Road near Whitney Road about 3:30 p.m. Sunday about a man walking around with protest signs and allegedly harassing customers at businesses.
A report described the man as "the only picketer for Occupy Strongsville." Officers told him to stay on public right-of-way and not to go onto Mad Cactus and Kings Inn property.
Keep fighting the good fight, man. Just be sure to fight the good fight while keeping a reasonable distance from Americanized Mexican food. Or, ya know, come downtown instead.
