Mr. Gnome — or as we like to refer to them here at the Scene office, the Best Band in Cleveland — are finally getting the attention they deserve in some places of the world that aren't so cold and miserable.

Rolling Stone named them a Band to Watch in its new issue, which also includes a review of the duo's excellent new album, Madness in Miniature.

The magazine is also spotlighting the group on its website, with a free download of "Watch the City Sail Away," a highlight of the new album that we suspect may be about Cleveland.

You can grab the free music and read some nice things about the band here.

If you want to hear the new album in its entirety, My Old Kentucky Blog is streaming it.

Or you could just buy it.

And if you want to see Mr. Gnome in person, they'll be wrapping up their current tour with a homecoming show at the Beachland Ballroom on December 17. —Michael Gallucci
