Like Cloud Nothings, Youngstown indie rockers Asleep worked with legendary studio engineer Steve Albini on their upcoming record.

And like Cloud Nothings, they're teasing fans one song at a time by releasing them across the internet.

Ten days after premiering their new single "Hip to Deaf" on Guitar World, the band is releasing another new song.

You can hear "Deserted" at Relix.

Asleep's third album Unpleasant Companion comes out on February 7. Which gives us another couple of weeks for other songs to drop online. —Michael Gallucci
