Joe Eszterhas to Mel Gibson: "You hate Jews."

Cleveland native and screenwriter Joe Eszterhas completed a script for "The Maccabees," a "Jewish Braveheart," as Mel Gibson called it.

Problem is, Joe hasn't heard back from Mel about the film and Joe thinks that in the heat of Gibson's anti-Semitic problems, he latched on to the project to defray the backlash while having no real intentions of going forward with the movie.

Worse than that, Eszterhas thinks it's worse than being flaky: Eszterhas thinks Mel Gibson hates Jews.

It's all in a scathing, long letter Eszterhas wrote to Mel, part of which is below, all of which you can read here.
