Most of you, for better or worse, will be able to read this little news item.

The fairly esteemed Central Connecticut State University recently had the good fortune to spell out "Cleveland, OH" on its rankings of the U.S.'s most literate cities. We clock in at 14th, behind such reading meccas as Seattle, Denver, Boston and plenty of other, lesser towns.

We earned spot No. 13 last year, so, at least according to CCSU's metrics, we're slightly lagging.
