Dish of the Day: Pork Tenderloin @ Table 45

You don’t have to be visiting a patient at the Cleveland Clinic to enjoy a meal at Zack Bruell’s elegant and worldly Table 45 (9801 Carnegie Ave., 216-707-4045, Located off the lobby in the Intercontinental Hotel, adjacent to the Clinic complex, the restaurant is convenient to the thousands of folks who work in and around University Circle.

One dish that has customers coming back for more is the tandoori-roasted pork tenderloin ($24). The meat is marinated for 24 hours in a tamarind and coffee mixture and then roasted in Table 45's blistering hot tandoori oven. The fork-tender meat is sliced and served with a chilled vermicelli salad with pine nuts, basil, sprouts, tomatoes and sweet ginger-vinaigrette. Like the setting, the dish is elegant, globally inspired and deliciously creative.
