Ivy Mitcham, a server at Michael Symon's Lolita in Tremont, has made it to the voting rounds for Maxim Magazine's 2014 Hometown Hotties. But she needs our help.
"Voting has started on Monday and ends this Sunday at midnight," says Mitcham. The Ashtabula native has been a server at Lolita for more than eight months and is pumped about representing the CLE. "I'm glad to represent a city that's known for its fans and dedication. I love Cleveland."
The contest, which began with thousand of entries, has been whittled down to the top 200 "hotties." But it wasn't the easiest road to get here.
"After spending a lot of time on my portfolio and questionnaire, my online submission was rejected with an error message," explains Mitcham. The Maxim site stated that she missed the deadline by two days, but she knew that was incorrect. "It was clearly an error so I email-stalked Maxim. In fact, I was visiting New York City and stopped into the office to submit," adds Mitcham. At the end, her entry finally was submitted and is now up and ready to accept votes.
The process is easy. Log on top Maxim.com and click the "Hometown Hotties 2014" link.
"And I'm at the bottom left-hand corner under Ivy," she says.
Well, let's hope this Monday morning Ivy is on top! Wait, what we mean to say is…er, Go, Ivy!
