Bomb Squad Called in to Investiate a Suspicious Device, But Finds Scavenger Hunt Prizes Instead

The bomb squad was called to Parma after a suspicious device was found strapped to a tree at the corners of State and Brook Park roads around 10 a.m. today.

Officials initially believed the package to be a pipe bomb, but when members of the bomb squad investigated the device, they found it actually contained little prizes and a clue for an online scavenger hunt game.

Parma Police say that whomever placed the device there could face charges of inducing panic.
