Today, Nate Jackson talks with host Craig Lyndall about his new book, Slow Getting Up (HarperCollins, Sept. 17), which is excerpted in this week's issue.

Jackson played eight season in the NFL, six of those with the Denver Broncos. Before the 2009 season, Jackson was briefly with the Cleveland Browns. That was a time under Eric Mangini. And it was not a very good time at all.
