Support local businesses and be rewarded... with chocolate.

Sounds like a pretty sick deal, eh?

The Downtown Lakewood Business Alliance is holding the Chocolate Walk on October 24 from 6-9 p.m.

More than twenty businesses along Detroit between Arthur and Olivewood Avenue will host Sweet Shops, which will each offer a unique chocolate confection. Lion and Blue will serve the treats from this year's Chocolate Walk sponsor, Campbell's Sweets Factory.

New stops on the walk include Peet's Coffee and Tea, Humble Wine Bar and Cotton. There will also be music, provided by Fireside.

VIP tickets are available for the event, and perks include a pre-walk VIP party at Deagan’s Kitchen & Bar from 5:30-6:15 p.m., a special chocolate drink, an appetizer, a VIP badge and private check-in.

Get your tickets online here, or in person at Geiger’s Clothing and Sports, Lion and Blue, Paisley Monkey or Rozi’s Wine House.

VIP tickets can be purchased online or at the LakewoodAlive office at 14710 Detroit Avenue.
