This Week Marks One Year Since Hurricane Sandy

Out on the east coast, whole neighborhoods are still crushed by the consequences of Hurricane Sandy. Here in Northeast Ohio, the damage - considerable, to be sure - wasn't as devastating, but memories of the storm live on.

Remember when the storm brought pieces of old Municipal Stadium out of the lake and onto land? That was nuts.

And earlier this year, we profiled one woman whose life was upended by the storm. Experts say that the causes and effects of Hurricane Sandy will be studied and felt for years. And they warn that similarly intense storms may become the norm in the future.

Now we turn to you: Feel free to recount your Hurricane Sandy experiences in the comments section below.

Are there stories you lived through that you feel should have shared a year ago? Are there lessons you'd like to impart for future storms? Send longer stories or photos or weather-related tips to esandy@clevescene.com.
