Over the course of the last decade, Baltimore-based R&B singer Mario has racked up a number of awards for the four studio album he’s released. Tentatively titled Evolve, his new disc isn’t scheduled to arrive until 2014 but the first single, “Somebody Else,” a shimmering, club-ready tune with backing vocals from Nicki Minaj, is already a huge hit. Mario will be in town on Saturday at the MetroPCS store (11704 Buckeye Rd.) to drum up some support for the forthcoming album. From 1 to 3 p.m., he’ll sign autographs and pose for photos.
