The Cleveland Blues Society is gearing up for its big event of the year — the group holds a local competition to see who will represent Cleveland at the Memphis Challenge that takes place down south in mid-October. The entry deadline is Sept. 12. According to the press release, the winner will receive "a ton of cash, free studio time and promotion and tour the world." Now how could you pass that up? The competition takes place at the Bohemian National Hall on Sunday, Oct. 12, but entries must be in by Sept. 12. More details can be found at clevelandblues.org
