10 Eating Challenges to Conquer in Cleveland

Who says you need to be Adam Richman and travel the world to take on competitive eating challenges?

Cleveland's got plenty to conquer right here in our fair city.

Take it from Jason "the food guy" Beudert, one of Scene's dining writers who has competed in (and conquered!) his fair share of local eating contests, including Shula's 48-ounce challenge, Melt's monster grilled cheese challenge, and Quaker Steak and Lube's Atomic Wing challenge.

He's also the only person in Cleveland to make his way through the Sweet Moses Terminal Tower challenge (and though he claims he's "retired" from the eating sport, we bet he could be goaded to defend his title should one of our dear readers challenge it).

If you're ready to tackle (or at least ogle at) some of the biggest dishes in Cleveland, onward!

And do send us photos if you decide to take any of these on.
