LeBron James Inspired by Lauren Hill. Who Wouldn't Be?


The gut-wrenching story of Lauren Hill, the Mount St. Joseph freshman with inoperable brain cancer, reached its climax Sunday night when she played her first collegiate game in an early match up vs. Hiram College.

The game had been pushed ahead a couple weeks so that Hill would be healthy enough to play. Her doctors has given her only months to live. Hill scored the game's first two points. 

ESPN reported that about 10,000 fans had surged into the arena at Xavier University by tipoff — Mount St. Joseph women's basketball games are lucky to attract triple-digit fans on most nights. But the world has been moved by Hill's courage. 

LeBron James was certainly among the inspired. He took to social media (along with dozens of other celebrities and emotional fans) to express his admiration for Hill:
