Local singer-songwriter Ryan Humbert has just announced the details for his 6th Annual Ryan Humbert Holiday Extravaganza. The concert will feature a 13-piece big band with Humbert and longtime backup singer Emily Bates performing big band, jazz and pop standards along with countless holiday classics. The shows take place on Tuesday, Dec. 9, and Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Akron Civic Theatre. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Akron General Muffins for Mammograms program that provides free mammograms year-round for uninsured or under-insured women throughout Northeast Ohio.

During each performance, an auction will be held for a camping weekend (courtesy of General RV) and an Akron Rubber Ducks VIP package that includes four tickets to a 2015 Rubber Ducks game, one behind-the-scenes tour and one ceremonial first pitch. Tickets are $20 for general admission or $35 for two (date night special) and they're available now at the Akron Civic box office at 330-253-2488 and online at akroncivic.com or at all Ticketmaster locations. The show is sponsored by FirstEnergy, The Greater Akron Chamber, Akron AAA and Akron General Medical Center.
