For five years now, Prosperity Social Club in Tremont has hosted a family-friendly holiday show between Christmas and New Year’s. This year, the party takes place from 8 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28. Smokin Fez Monkeys, a local band that plays old-time music, will perform. In addition to its regular menu of “upscale comfort food classics,” Prosperity will serve up a special chicken marsala with portabella mushroom ravioli. “Warm and fuzzy” drink specials include a featured selection of Cleveland Whiskey cocktails including a highball, hot whiskey, whiskey sour or an old fashioned. “The holidays are wonderful, but they can be a bit of a whirlwind,” says Prosperity owner Bonnie Flinner in a press release about the event. “This is a chance to unwind, unplug and have a good time.” Advance reservations are recommended.
