“Metal On Meta
l” host and Auburn Records
owner Bill Peters recently met the guys in the up-and-coming metal band Night Demon
at Ripper’s Rock House in Akron as they were driving across the country to a gig in Albany. “They stopped in Akron to visit friends and take a traveling break for the holiday,” says Peters in a press release. “We watched the OSU football game together.“ Cleveland wasn’t on the tour schedule but Peters contacted Maple Grove
owner Nick Summa and booked the gig for Thursday, Jan. 8.
The band's U.S. tour includes a total of 60 dates. “I saw Night Demon open for Raven
a couple of months ago at the Empire Concert Club
in Akron,” says Peters. “They were AMAZING!! My European friends have been raving to me about these guys for the past couple of years. Now I know why. New Wave Of British Heavy Metal fans, like myself, will love this band. I’ve been playing them regularly on my radio show and they are one of my most requested artists. Trust me, Night Demon are the real deal.”
The band released its self-titled debut last year and has a full-length slated to come out later this month. “We are pumped to FINALLY be playing a proper show in Cleveland”, says singer-bassist Jarvis Leatherby. “With much success playing in the surrounding areas, we are ready to bring the power to your town that has shown us so much support in the underground. Thank you to Bill Peters from WJCU and Auburn Records for setting this show up for us on short notice.”
Night Demon will also appear live on WCSB
