Cuyahoga County Director of Communications Emily Lundgard has confirmed that the above sign, which had been taped to a Sheriff's Department Security Desk on the 22nd floor of the Cleveland Justice Center for years, has been removed.

“This sign was completely inappropriate and unacceptable," a statement from the County read. "It was removed as soon as the Sheriff was made aware of its existence. The Sheriff takes this very seriously and already opened an investigation to determine how and when it appeared.”"
