The Euro Wafle Bar Slated to Open in Tower City Next Week

If you've traveled to Europe, you're surely familiar with the street waffle: A crispy Belgian-style waffle smothered in toppings like gooey Nutella and fresh strawberries, and served up hot 'n fresh from a toothy street vendor.

Now, Clevelanders won't have to travel quite so far to get their European waffle fix.

The Euro Wafle Bar, which has been operating as a pop-up on the Case Western campus and in Public Square, is opening a storefront in Tower City.

The preliminary menu looks promising with build-your-own-waffles that diners can load up with a la carte toppings, as well as signature items (we're eyeing the Speculove— Belgian cookie butter, ice cream, and vanilla whip), and even a few savory options. A coffee slow bar is also in the cards and will feature Rising Star blends.

Follow the wafle bar on Twitter for opening updates, and head over to Tower City's Level Two next week to check out the new digs for yourself. They open on Monday.

Can't make it downtown? Don't worry, the Euro Wafle Bar also delivers.
