Earlier this month, man wearing a notably fake beard robbed two stores on Cleveland's westside.

At 9 a.m. on March 7, the man seen at right entered "Tremont Convenience Food mart with a gun and attempted to rob the store. The victims however ran to the back of the store and the suspect left," according to police. Later that morning, he attempted the same at the Shell gas station at Ridge and Memphis, demanding money from the cash register while brandishing a black handgun. He left the store with an unspecified amount of money.

He was seen driving a "small dark blue or black Chevy S-10 or a Ford Ranger pick up truck."

Det. Janet Murphy seeks information at 216-623-5218.
