Today on No Sleep in the CLE, Justin Markert talks with Cleveland comedian Mike Polk. Mike expresses his comedy through many mediums including standup, sketch (Last Call Cleveland), and producing videos (Hastily Made Tourism, Factory of Sadness). They talk about how Mike's upbringing enabled his comedy, the difference between small rooms and the bigger clubs, their inability to schmooze, the cost of speaking your mind politically and the fact that there should be way more female comics in town.
Mike is doing a live album recording on May 30th at Mahall's. Two shows 7:30pm and 10:30pm. Bill Squire is opening both.
Music featured this episode: Fever Pitch.
