Woman Spends the Night in a Solon CVS After Falling Asleep in the Back of the Store

Sleepovers are fun, especially when they're intentional.

Police were called to a Solon CVS Pharmacy this week when a manager arrived to work on Tuesday morning and found a woman locked inside, coming off of a very unplanned overnight excursion.

The 59-year-old Oakwood resident said she had plopped down in a chair in the back of the store the night before and had fallen asleep. She awoke hours later and find the store shuttered for the night.

The woman didn't call police when she awoke — and why would she? An unlimited supply of beef jerky and Hostess cupcakes could carry anyone through the night.

Police called the woman's daughter and had the woman transported to Bedford Hospital for evaluation.
