The Cleveland Animal Protective League is requesting the hearts and hands of locals to find the perp who recently shot an abandoned pet cat with a two-foot arrow.
The feline in question — nicknamed Chance by the APL — was found on West 65th Street and Colgate Avenue on Cleveland's West side on Tuesday, NewsNet5 reports

A veterinarian who removed the arrow estimated that the cat had been shot at least a week earlier and if the arrow had been just a centimeter lower, the cat would not have survived.
"He must have been in pain and yet, he was surviving out there," said Ayse Dunlap, director of operations at the Animal Protective League.
Anyone with information on the shooter is kindly asked to call the Humane Investigations Hotline at 216.377.1630.
