Here's David Wain Talking About Dorothy Fuldheim on 'Drunk History'

Shaker Heights native David Wain recently graced Comedy Central's Drunk History with his presence and a fine lesson on the career and legacy of Dorothy Fuldheim.

Check out the video below. Wain's segment begins around 5:30.

In short, Wain extols Fuldheim's pioneering work for the Cleveland Press and WEWS and her role as the first woman in the United States to anchor a television news broadcast. In the face of executive-level concerns and a fickle audience, WEWS ended up standing by her work and propelling her into journalism history.

For that, Wain stammers: "Channel 5 News is the best — TV 5 Eyewitness News Cha — News Channel 5 is the best station in Cleveland!"

And now David Wain is going to go to sleep.
