You can tell just about all you need to know about a person by how they treat restaurant servers, whether they like cats or dogs, and by what they give out on Halloween. Which is where you come in.
This coming festive weekend as you take your kids out to bring back a mighty haul of sugar and assorted confections, if you happen to live in a neighborhood that includes the residence of someone famous or important in Cleveland, we want to know what they give (or do not give) out.
Is Johnny Manziel dropping bite-sized Snickers instead of the big bars? Does Joe Cimperman have his front lights off? Is Frank Jackson passing out whiskey-spiked cocktails to the parents? Is Donte Whitner handing out garbage bags stuffed with truckloads of goodies from B.A Sweeties? Is your local councilperson doling out candy corn instead of legit candy? Your favorite Cavs player not even participating? Can you see the CEO of a company sitting on his/her couch watching TV and not answering the doorbell? Is NEOMG Top Man Chris Quinn the most generous man on your block? Is Leon Bibb the man or The Man? Who's got the better stash, Alan Cox or Mark Nolan? Is Ramona Robinson handing out dental floss? Does Toby Cosgrove give out sugar-free garbage?
We want all that — TV, radio, sports, politics, business. Whether it turns into public shaming instead of public celebration is up to them.
