John Kasich Says Ohio and U.S. Shouldn't Accept More Syrian Refugees

Ohio governor and low-polling Republican presidential candidate joined the governors of Texas, Michigan, Louisiana and other states today in opposing Syrian refugee relocation to the Buckeye state and U.S. in general.

Kasich himself spoke to Fox Business News on the topic (via the Dayton Daily News).

“There is no way that we can put any of our people at risk,” Kasich said. “Should anybody come in here before the end of the year? The answer to that should be no. We should not jeopardize our people. And so it’s not just an issue of the heart. It’s also an issue of the head.”
