One of Cleveland's biggest foodie events of the year begins today. Downtown Cleveland Restaurant Week lasts 10 days, through Sunday, Feb. 28.

This year's theme is "Chef's Choice" and more than 50 restaurants are participating. Chefs build special restaurant week meals, and during the "week" Clevelanders can vote for their favorite restaurant to be Downtown Cleveland Restaurant of the Year. Voters are then entered into a drawing to win a year of free dining. You can also vote the best menu for People's Choice Award.

Restaurant week also means price-fixed lunch and dinner selections at all participating restaurants for $15, $30 or $40 per meal.

Diners also receive special discounted parking rates at select lots in downtown Cleveland. Park at the following locations for $3 off: Playhouse Square at 1520 and 1600 Euclid Avenue, the Gateway District at 740 Euclid Avenue, Flats East Bank at 1010 Front Street and 111 West 11th Street and the Warehouse District at 1371 West 6th Street. Parking discount vouchers are available at DowntownCleveland.com.

All participating restaurants and their lunch and dinner menus can be found here.

Happy eating!
