Famous for their HBO hit comedy series Flight of the Conchords, a show about the trials and tribulations of a dry-witted New Zealand folk/pop/rock duo as it tries to make it big in New York City, the comedic musical act Flight of the Conchords (Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie), has just announced plans for a summer tour.

The Flight of the Conchords sing Flight of the Conchords Tour marks their first tour since co-headlining 2014’s Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour. Clement and McKenzie have new material in the works, which they’ll play exclusively at these shows.

"I’m thrilled to get back on the road with over half the original band,” says Clement in a press release announcing the tour.

The Conchords have also partnered with the charity organization Global Citizen for this tour.

The amphitheater and concert hall tour launches on June 11 at Playhouse Square's State Theatre. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday.
