"The Daily Show" Co-Creator to Host Cleveland Comedy Show During RNC

Are you anti-Trump and pro-comedy? We have the perfect RNC event for you.

Hosted by NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio and The Daily Show co-creator, Lizz Winstead, "Slurricane Trump is Touching Down in Cleveland" will be a night of laughs at a time when we could probably all use some.

You can join Winstead’s comedy team, Lady Parts Justice, Last Comic Standing winner Alonzo Bodden, and Emmy Award-winning comedian Frank Conniff (known for being the star of Mystery Science Theater 3000) as they watch Trump’s acceptance speech and rip it to comedic shreds.

You can stay home with a stomach ache fretting for the future of our country, or head out for a night of catharsis with jokes, drinks, and even a Trump pinata.

Where: Bohemian National Hall at Sokol Greater Cleveland
4939 Broadway Ave, Cleveland, OH 44127
When: July 21, 2016
VIP reception at 7:00 p.m. ($75)
Doors open to public at 8:30 p.m. ($50)

As the website states, “Friends don’t let friends suffer the RNC alone.”

All proceeds from this event benefit NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio and Lady Parts Justice. For more information, as well as purchasing tickets, you can visit the event website or its Facebook page

And if you've remained a Daily Show fan even after Jon Stewart's departure, don't forget that the Comedy Central show will be taping its RNC broadcasts from the Breen Center for Performing Arts at St. Ignatius High School.
