The World Series will officially come to an end soon (hopefully sooner rather than later), but its impact will live on thanks to the watch parties.

Three watch parties were held at The Jake for the road games in Chicago, drawing more than 67,000 fans and raising more than $330,000 for local charities. The team has also donated more than $2.5 million to the Cleveland Boys & Girls Club.

“I want to thank the Indians for thinking about the community as they always do, like I said, it’s very consistent for them to think about using this money for the greater good in the community,” said Ron Soeder, President of the Cleveland Boys & Girls Club told WEWS.

Each of the watch parties sold out within the same hour of going on sale.
