[image-1]Akron police landed a huge drug bust yesterday, including a simply massive amount of cocaine found in a man's car.

After spotting a "suspicious" driver in Akron yesterday, police attempted a traffic stop and soon found themselves in a full-on chase through nearby Kenmore and Summit Lake. The driver ended up fleeing his car and jumping off a bridge, hurting himself as he landed on railroad tracks below.

During a search, police found 11 kilograms of cocaine in 36-year-old Jerry Davis' car. (Field testing originally identified the drug as fentanyl, the opiate that has caused hundreds of overdoses in Akron this year.)

Davis, meanwhile, was taken to Akron Hospital and, later, to Summit County Jail.

Later, police searched Davis' New Franklin home and found 25 kilograms of an unidentified drug.
