We're top ten, Buckeye brethren.

WalletHub rolled out a ranking of the most obese states in America based on data of 1) obesity prevalence, 2) unhealthy habits and 3) food and fitness. When all those are combined, Ohio's about middle of the pack — No. 18 in the general obesity rank. If you focus just on the obesity rate, however, and ignore exercise and eating habits (like you do already) and square us up against the rest of America, we jump to No. 7.

A Physical Activity Council study found about 81.6 million Americans are completely sedentary, which is one of the prime indicators of obesity along with other factors like inability to reach for the remote and pounds per square inch of takeout wrappers in your car being other important factors.

As we settle into the winter months when it gets dark at 4 p.m. and all you want to do is hunker down and hibernate, it's an unsettling reminder of the affects of those decisions.

Anyway, pass the mac and cheese-topped hot dog with fruit loops.
