The Atlanta-based heavy rock act Mastodon has completed the follow-up to its 2014 album Once More 'Round The Sun. While details regarding the new studio album will be released soon, the band has just announced the dates of a spring U.S. tour.

The jaunt, which includes support from Eagles of Death Metal and Russian Circles, kicks off on April 14 in Missoula.

The tour comes to the Agora on May 4.

"Hey! Good news everybody, we are hitting the road this spring with some great friends of ours Eagles of Death Metal and Russian Circles,” says the band in a press release. “We couldn't be more excited to pour majestic rock sauce all over your town. Come on down and help us celebrate the season of new beginnings where fresh buds bloom, animals awaken, the earth comes to life and there's a new Mastodon album to melt your face off! See you there!"

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday. Every pair of tickets purchased online includes the choice of a physical or digital copy of the forthcoming album.
