Indians manager Terry Francona underwent a heart procedure yesterday at the Cleveland Clinic, though it's not yet publicly clear what specifically has been ailing him and causing weeks of intermittent rapid heart rate.

Francona will remain at the hospital for at least a few more days as doctors sort out his condition. The cardiac ablation procedure is undertaken to correct irregular rhythms in heartbeat. He has been in the hospital since Tuesday.

Tribe fans will sign cards for the beloved manager at tonight's game against the Tigers. Find the cards throughout the concourse at Progressive Field.

Beyond this weekend, the Indians have confirmed that Francona will not be managing the AL team in this year's All-Star game. Brad Mills, Tribe bench coach, will fill in (as he's been doing in Cleveland).

Fans should expect to see him back in the dugout (on the road in Oakland) on July 14.

Get well soon, Tito.
