After the briefest of closures, the Center Street Swing Bridge in the Flats has re-opened.

The City of Cleveland sent out a news alert Sunday afternoon saying that maintenance crews were able to "quickly evaluate, assess and perform the repairs necessary to bring the bridge back on line."

The red bridge had been closed for only two days.

The bridge was originally constructed in 1901 and was closed for a year in 2010 for major repairs.
