JiMiller Band to Recreate Grateful Dead Concert From the '70s

  • Kevin Richter
The guys in the local rock act the JiMiller Band are Grateful Dead aficionados and know the jam band’s music well.

For their upcoming Feb. 24 show at the Winchester in Lakewood, they plan to recreate the Dead show that took place on May 8, 1977 at Barton Hall, a venue on the Cornell University campus.

It’s reportedly one of the Dead’s best-ever shows. The band will play the Barton Hall concert and then throw in a few JiMiller Band tunes too.

The gig begins at 8 p.m., and tickets are $10 to $12.
