Culver's is setting up shop in Northeast Ohio for the first time, bringing along its signature lineup of ButterBurgers and frozen custard treats. The Wisconsin-based fast food joint is slated to open in Avon sometime this spring.

With more than 600 locations across the country, including a handful of restaurants near Columbus and eastward, the spot is a popular destination for families and old people ... okay and everyone else, too. Those cheese curds and burgers don't eat themselves.

The new freestanding store is set to be located at 1439 Center Road near I-90,  according to Avon Planning Commission records.
