Video from Massive 50-Car Pile-up on I-71 Yesterday

Anywhere from 40 to 70 vehicles, including cars, SUVs and semi-trucks, were involved in a huge pileup on I-71 in Morrow County (south of Mansfield) Tuesday afternoon. Multiple snow-induced accidents caused the jam, which closed all northbound lanes for five hours.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that there were no fatalities and only a handful of minor injuries. Authorities opened a berm lane around 9 p.m. to permit cars to pass. The highway was fully re-opened shortly after 10 p.m.
