While often lumped in with the late '90s alt-rock scene, Guster has actually spent most of its career firmly entrenched in the far more amorphous post-Y2K indie world.

With 2015’s Evermotion, the band stretched out even further, drawing comparisons to acts such as Wilco and the Shins.

In the midst of recording a new album, the band has just announced the dates of a summer tour. It'll perform at House of Blues on Aug. 1.

A fan presale begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday.
