A Christmas Story House Acquires Next Door Bumpus House

Tremont's famed Christmas Story House and museum is officially expanding, feel free to release the hounds in celebration.

The revered Cleveland property is now going to include the next door home of the Bumpuses, of 785-smelly-hound-dog fame in the film, as museum owners recently announced they'd acquired the nearby house.

While guests have been able to spend the night in Ralphie's bed since last year, museum owners speculate that Bumpus House will be open for overnight adventures starting in the fall. Renovations are already underway, but no word yet on how many hound dogs will be included in the stays.
