The Grammy Award-winning hard rock band Mastodon will team up with indie rockers Dinosaur Jr. for a fall tour that includes a Sept. 12 stop at the Agora Theatre.

It might seem like an odd pairing but the press release announcing the tour promises, “If you’re looking for a night of heavy guitar riffs and excessive audio volume, then look no further this year.”

A Mastodon and Dinosaur Jr. fan club ticket pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow. A Blabbermouth.net pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 am. on Friday.
