Well, Cleveland, the wait is nearly over for Shake Shack
fans, as Ohio’s first location of the glee-inducing burger shop is just days from opening its doors. That will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 7. The Pinecrest
Shake Shack can be found at 311 Park Avenue in Orange Village.
The Pinecrest Shake Shack will offer all the classics, including single and double cheeseburgers, fried chicken sandwiches, griddle-cooked Vienna beef hotdogs, crispy crinkle-cut fries and handmade shakes. Shake Shack’s burgers are made with fresh 100-percent hormone- and antibiotic-free Angus beef.
To drink there’s local and regional beer along with red and white wines from Napa-based Frog’s Leap Winery.
The 3,690-square-foot eatery, which was built using green architecture and eco-friendly construction, will feature indoor and outdoor seating. Tabletops were made by Ohio-based Crow Works and the artwork is from local talent.
“As a native Clevelander, I could not be more excited to introduce Shake Shack to the amazing, expanding food scene here in the CLE,” says Dustin Dykstra, the shop’s senior GM. “I’m confident our delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, crinkle cut fries, shakes and more will satisfy the culinary curiosity of residents throughout northeast Ohio – and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few die-hards make the trip from Cincinnati and C-Bus for a shot at the Shack.”
Since the original Shack opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park, the company has expanded to more than 80 locations in 18 U.S. States and the District of Columbia, and more than 50 international locations including London, Istanbul, Dubai, Tokyo, Moscow, Seoul and more.
