The LeBron Banner is Coming Down Today

As it should, the LeBron banner will be coming down this week, Sherwin-Williams confirmed this morning.

Why anyone would want it to remain up is a bit confusing. (Like, we're don't hate LeBron for his decision, but he also doesn't play for Cleveland any longer.)



Anyway, the company will evaluate what to do with the space in the future. Hopefully they won't once again put a big image of Cleveland's skyline on a building that's part of Cleveland's skyline. (A refresher look here, if you've already forgotten how bad it was.)

Most of the suggestions for what could replace the iconic banner so far have been pretty dumb. Here's to hoping the space is used for some big public art made by a local artist.
