More than 40 larger than life lantern displays are set to light up the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo this summer during the Asian Lantern Festival. This after-zoo-hours event takes place every Thursday through Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. today through Aug. 19.

The festival showcases Asian culture not just through elaborate paper lanterns, but with authentic food, craft markets and live performances — all this while being surrounded by zoo animals.

Tickets for non-members are $17.50 if you buy online here. Day-of tickets are $20.50 for everyone at the box office.
