Twinsburg's Twins Days Festival Returns With Identical Twins' Wedding, Plus Parade and Fireworks

The world's largest gathering of twins returns to Twinsburg this weekend with the added bonus of an identical twin double wedding.

According to Summit County Probate Court documents, sisters Brittany and Briana Deane are set to marry brothers Josh and Jeremy Salyers this weekend at the festival. The couples, who first met at the annual event, were featured on the court's Facebook page with marriage licenses in hand earlier this week.

The event, which brings out around 2,000 sets of twins from around the world per year, officially kicks off tonight at Twinsburg's Glenn Chamberlin Park. Saturday features a "double take" parade, naturally featuring twins, and also a twin look-alike contest. The night closes out with fireworks. Sunday's includes a 5-K run at 8:30 a.m. at Dodge Middle School.

Tickets are $4 for those from out of town, but free for Twinsburg residents.
